Half Marathon Coaching Program
For runners who are tired of generic app plans and want real coaching, a structured programme that fits around their life, injury-prevention and a group to keep them honest.
You're on the list. We'll be in touch soon.
Starting July 2026. Be in the first wave.
If you said yes to more than two of these, keep reading.
You've been running regularly for a while but somehow you're not getting any faster, and you're not quite sure what you're doing wrong.
You start a training plan with good intentions, but by week two the strength and mobility work is already getting skipped.
You've downloaded a free PDF plan or used a running app, and while it started okay, it didn't take long before you fell off track or got injured.
You want to fuel properly around your runs but you're not sure what to eat, when to eat it, or how to stop feeling guilty about eating more.
You want to run a half marathon and actually enjoy it. Not just survive it. But standing on the start line feeling calm and prepared seems a long way off.
It's not you. It's the format.
Easy to download, easy to forget. There's no one paying attention to whether you showed up. No one adjusting the plan when life gets in the way. The PDF doesn't care. And when you fall off track, there's nothing pulling you back.
The algorithm doesn't know you. It doesn't know you had a terrible week, that you felt a niggle in your knee on Tuesday, or that you're actually a bit stronger than the onboarding form suggested. Generic inputs, generic output.
It's always the first thing to go. When it's bolted on as an afterthought, it's easy to skip. But skipping it consistently is exactly why those small niggles turn into injuries that set you back weeks.
If you could afford a personal running coach who writes your plan, checks in every week, and adjusts everything in real time, great. Most people can't. And that's a completely reasonable position to be in.
The reason most people don't hit their half marathon goal isn't just fitness. It's the combination of things they're missing.
This isn't 1:1 coaching, but it's not just an algorithm either. If you get injured, sick or are dealing with something at work and need your plan adjusted, you can ask me directly. Not sure whether to push through or take a break? I'm one message away.
This is where the programme is different from anything app-based. Two live group sessions every week with your coach. Focused on the strength and mobility work runners actually need. You show up, you do the work together, and then it's done. There's a library of past sessions too, so if you miss one, you can still catch up.
Something magical happens when you stop training solo and start training together. Questions? Post them in the forum. I answer personally, and everyone in the programme benefits from the answer too. Besides that, there are monthly webinars (with Q&A) on specific topics like nutrition, pacing, and race prep.
Everything in one place, from day one.
Matched to your current fitness after you fill in a short onboarding form. Loaded into the Final Surge app, which automatically syncs to your watch every day and tracks your runs. You don't have to think about what to do next. It's already there.
The sessions runners actually need. Not random gym workouts, not YouTube videos you forget to open. Scheduled, live, with a group. Plus access to a full library of all previous sessions so you can always catch up.
Every month, a session on a specific topic, such as race nutrition, pacing strategy, or training through fatigue. Followed by a live Q&A where you can ask anything. Recordings available afterwards.
Post your question in the forum and I will answer personally. It's not 1:1 coaching, but it's far better than hoping an app's AI gives you a sensible response. You also get to learn from the questions other runners are asking.
Sign ups are opening soon. Leave your email and you'll be first to know.

No sales call. No lengthy contracts. Just running.
No complicated setup. Three simple steps.
Tell me about your current training, your goal race, and your experience level. Takes five minutes. I will review your answers. This is usually done within 24hrs.
A recommended training plan is matched to your details. It's then loaded into Final Surge and synced to your watch. All plans kick off on the next Monday after sign up.
You run, attend the group sessions, ask questions in the forum, and will show up to race day feeling prepared and excited. Your success is my success.

My third half marathon, Lisbon, October 2024. I hit the wall completely. Missed my goal, felt awful, and honestly just wanted to disappear. It wasn't a fitness problem. It was everything else.
"One moment that really stood out was during a run where I felt like I had nothing left. Caroline was live chatting with me, helping me work through it and giving me options — but also encouraging me to keep going. Having access to her during a low point like that made such a difference."
"Apart from the logistical coaching, she was my biggest cheerleader from the first training run to the race finish line. I knew she had my back, and I genuinely believe it was her coaching that gave me one of my favourite race experiences ever."
Sign ups are not open yet, but here's exactly what you'll get and what it costs.

If the plan is working and you're improving, honestly, great. This programme is for runners who feel like something is missing: accountability, strength work they'll actually do, proper support when something goes wrong, and a group to train alongside. If the app is ticking all of those boxes, you're probably fine. If it's not, that's what this is for.
Define serious runner! The fact that you're looking at this page makes you a "serious runner". Anywho, the programme is for runners who want to improve and run a half marathon they're proud of. You don't need to be fast. You don't need to have run one before. You just need to want to do it properly, stay injury-free, and enjoy the process.
Your running plan will vary depending on where you are in training, but typically 3-5 runs per week. On top of that, the two live strength and mobility sessions are each around 30-40 minutes. If you can't make one live, you can do it from the library whenever suits you.
DM me and I, Caroline, will adjust your plan. This is one of the things that makes this different from an app. Life happens. Injuries happen. Your plan doesn't have to fall apart when they do. I will be there to discuss your next steps with you.
It's not. Full 1:1 coaching is more personal and more involved. This programme is for runners who want something significantly better than an app or a PDF, at a price that makes sense. If you want full 1:1 attention, that's a different conversation and a different price point.
8 weeks is the minimum to see real progress. 12 weeks is where things start to feel solid. 16 weeks gives you the full picture. This is why the quarterly option is the recommended option if you have a specific race in mind.
You'll need to download the Final Surge app, which is free. It syncs your plan to most GPS running watches. If you don't have a GPS watch, you can still run to the plan manually. No other paid tools are needed.
There's a 7-day money back guarantee. If you've done the first week, attended a session, and still feel like this isn't right for you, email Caroline and you'll get a full refund. No hassle.
